Global Habitat supports the SHOWE-IT project. This project is co funded by the EU and has as its aim to reduce energy and water consumption through the use of smart meters.
The SHOWE-IT project brings together organisations with a different background in Europe. The goal is to establish results that can be replicated on a wider scale in Europe. In this specific projects there are cooperating industrial companies, housing associations, utility companies and Universities. The consortium has members from six different European countries. The goal is to reduce consumption by 15% to 20% with an investment below € 3, 000, - per dwelling.
